Marsh View Bark Park
The staff at the Marsh View Veterinary Clinic is very excited to be offering our community the opportunity to provide dogs a place to run, play, and socialize leash free. The dog park is a 1 ½ acre fenced playground for dogs. All equipment in the park is for the use of its members. In order for everyone to have a safe environment for their pets and owners, the following rules must be obeyed.
Park Rules
Annual Membership
An annual permit (valid January 1, 2009 -December 31, 2009) is required. Permits and dog park tags can be purchased at Marsh View Veterinary Clinic during regular business hours (Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 8:00am - 5:00pm & Wednesdays 8-7:00pm; Saturdays 8-12). $25 per year for 1 dog; $10 per year for each additional dog. You may also purchase a daily tag for $2.00 for the first dog and $1.00 for each dog thereafter.
Hours - Daylight Only
Dawn to dusk, seven days a week, 365 days a year
Park Identification
Marsh View Vet Clinic will provide tags for all dogs whose owner's purchase a park permit. This tag must be on all dogs while in the park.
Vaccinations and Licensing
It is required that all dogs show proof of rabies vaccinations. Both the rabies certificate and the rabies tag must be shown when purchasing a park permit. Although it is not required, we also recommend your dogs have the following vaccinations: Bordetella and Distemper.
In addition to showing proof of vaccinations, all dogs using the park must show proof of current licensing from the village, township, or city in which they reside.
Cleaning Up After Your Dog
It is important that all fecal matter is picked up after your dogs. Doggie poop bags and receptacles will be in the park and will be provided by Marsh View Veterinary Clinic. Please help keep the park clean for all visitors.
Water and Food on Premises
Please do not bring treats to the park. If you have treats and there are other dogs in the park, it could create problems. Therefore, please keep all treats in your car. We would like the park to be an enjoyable experience for all owners. It is highly recommended that you bring your own water, but again, keep it in your car so that it doesn't create problems with other dogs in the park.
Aggressive Dogs
Know your dogs. If you have an aggressive dog, it MUST be leashed (no longer than 6 inches long) at all times. If there is any altercation within the park, it is required to be reported to the staff at the Marsh View Veterinary Clinic. If there is more than one altercation involving a particular dog, this dog will lose all privileges to the park.
Liability
Marsh View Veterinary Clinic is not responsible for any injury to the pet or the owner while using the park. A waiver of liability will need to be signed at the time of purchasing the annual permit.
